Dr. Glenda Clare

She earned a bachelors in interdisciplinary study of media arts and community health education (University of South Carolina), masters in counseling with a specialization  in addiction and career counseling (North Carolina Central University) and doctorate in Counselor Education with a specialization in addiction and family counseling.

Dr. Clare is licensed in North Carolina and South Caroling: NC Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC 8097), NC Licensed Clinical Addictions Specialist (LCAS 2091) and SC Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC 9850). She was mentored to work with families impacted by substance use disorders by John T. Edwards. Dr. Clare completed specialized training in Trauma Focused CBT, trauma treatment for children and adolescents, family trauma, integrated mental health, resilience training, the treatment of grief and adoption competent counseling.
