Real World Counseling Supervision Program Open House

This program is designed for clinical mental health graduate students and recent graduates who are interested in bridging the gap between academic training and real-world counseling practice, providing participants with skills, supervision and experience necessary to excel in their careers.

Program Overview – The program offers graduate-level counseling students and recent graduates the opportunity to:

Gain Supervised Clinical Expereince: Working directly with diverse client populations including youth in foster care, individuals experiencing housing challenges, grandfamilies created when a grandparent or other family members raise the child of a relative, families in transition, and those recovering from trauma or substance use challenges.

Develop Advanced Skills: Learn evidence-based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma informed care.

Meet Licensure Requirements: Complete supervised practice hours required for licensure as Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselors (LCMHC) or other relevant credentials.
